CRESTWOOD SOCCER CLUB CUP (CSC CUP)

RULES

1. This is a 4 vs. 4 game (Widget 3 vs. 3). You may substitute on the fly; however, the player must come off the field before the substitute can go into the game.

2. The game is two (2) 12-minute halves.

3. You can only score from your offensive half of the field.

4. You cannot score directly from the kickoff or the touch line (throw-in).

5. No one is allowed inside the arc. No one is allowed to touch the ball inside the arc. The referee can award a penalty kick for either of these violations.

6. Penalty kicks are taken from the center of the midfield line for Senior and Junior Divisions. Penalty kicks are taken half-way between the arc and midfield line for Pee-Wee Division and 9 yards from the goal line for Widget Division.

7. Balls outside the touchline will be put back in play by a kick instead of a throw-in.

8. Balls outside the goal line will also be put back in play by a kick. The defense will take the kick from inside the arc. The offense will take the kick from the corner.

9. Ties are decided by standard shoot-out rules (5 shots). Semi-finals and finals only (Pee-Wee finals only).

10. AS ALWAYS, THE DECISION OF THE REFEREE IS FINAL!

COACHES INFORMATION

1. The first team listed on the schedule will defend the North side of the field in the first half. The teams switch at half-time.

2. Have your team assembled at the South end of the field 10 minutes before the game. We will begin the game promptly.

3. Your players are only allowed to bring water/Gatorade bottles to the side line. No soccer bags or other items will be allowed and should be kept at the South end of the field.

4. You do not need to bring any equipment.

5. All teams play three games. The top four teams move on to the semi-finals (Pee-wee top two teams play in the finals).

6. No one is allowed behind the Goal lines during the game.

7. All players receive equal playing time. Violation of this rule could result in a forfeit.
