CRESTWOOD SOCCER CLUB CUP

CSC CUP SATURDAY, SEPT. 19th & SUNDAY, SEPT. 20th. Parents/Players plan on being at the field most of the day!  Players will receive the schedule from the Coach.

RULES

1.       This is a 4 vs. 4 game (Widgets 3 vs. 3).  You may substitute on the fly; however, the player must come off the field before the substitute can go into the game.

2.       The game is two (2) 12-minute halves.

3.       You can only score from your offensive half of the field.

4.       You cannot score directly from the kickoff or the touch line (throw-in).

5.       No one is allowed inside the arc. No one is allowed to touch the ball inside the arc.

          The referee can award a penalty kick for either of these violations.

6.       Penalty kicks are taken from the center of the midfield line for Senior & Junior Divisions; half-way between the arc and midfield line for Pee-Wee Division; and, 9 yards from the goal line for Widget Division.

7.       Balls outside the touchline will be put back in play by a kick instead of a throw-in.

8.       Balls outside the goal line will also be put back in play by a kick. The defense will take the kick from inside the arc. The offense will take the kick from the corner.

9.       Ties are decided by standard shoot-out rules (5 shots). Semi-finals and finals only.

10.     AS ALWAYS, THE DECISION OF THE REFEREE IS FINAL!

CHICAGO FIRE OUTING

DO NOT FORGET OUR OUTING TO THE CHICAGO FIRE GAME!

Saturday, September 26, 2009 @ 7:30pm.  Our special pricing for each ticket is $22.00 (regular price $28.00).  Please call the Club or sign up at the Concession Stand to reserve your tickets.  15 of our players will be allowed to go on the field at the start of the game.  Tickets will be distributed on September 19th & 20th.

 

BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR NEIGHBORS PROPERTY

A number of our neighbors have complained that children and adults are coming onto their property and walking through their yards.  This is unacceptable.  Effective immediately, ball playing in the spectator areas will not be allowed.

If you are interested in joining the Crestwood Soccer Club Board, please forward a letter to the Board and tell us about yourself and why you are interested in joining. 

 

REMINDER – The speed limit on Lavergne is 20 mph.  Please obey the speed limit and watch for children.  Use the CSC parking lot only.  DO NOT USE the side streets to park.  Remember that NO DOGS or pets are allowed at the CSC fields.  Parents and spectators are allowed on the North side of the Fields ONLY.  Remember, NO SMOKING is permitted anywhere on the Crestwood Soccer Club grounds, including the fields.  Be kind and respectful to our neighbors and let’s have a fun and safe season.
